performance chip

has anyone completed research or installed a good chip that doesn't cost the same as a rebuild...looking for my 99 boxster

Save your money, best you're going to get is maybe 3-4hp at the wheel, not worth it IMO.

Spend your money on stickier tires instead.

Or go to a couple of DE's. The skills you will learn will increase your speed more than a chip. Ed

3 to 4 HP is 3 to 4 HP in my book. Sounds good! What chips are available for us 2.5 drivers wanting a few more HP and a little higher redline?
