Noone986S, very nice. Like others have said, those calipers are huge! Looks great.

Steering wheel is nice. I think on an actual GT3 the 12:00 mark is yellow.

Noone986s, are you sure about the size? I thought the GT3 front brakes were 350mm. Are those 6 piston or 4? Thanks.

Where did you get the brake kit? How much did it run you?

Yeah the size is 350 not 380, sorry, but as my wife will confirm I am always trying to claim things are bigger than perhaps they are . They are the six piston calipers.

Your pic is a 997 which does have a yellow tab. The 996 GT3 and RS has red stiching and an optional red tab. As I said is pretty much the same, not identical. I dont believe the 996 GT3 made it to the US

The brakes are all OEM porsche parts, supplied by Ninemeister in the UK. www.ninemeister.com. You need the GT3 front hubs and a small spacer for the rear. You would laugh if I told you how much, especially with the USD to GBP rate but they were comparable to a brembo or AP racing option.

Thanks

Will doing this mod increase the life-span of the pad and rotors, for the average daily driver (not a track car)? You would think it would with the improved performance and size of the pads and contact area.

Loving the car man those brakes look massive, wheels really suit.

Where about are you in the UK?

Thanks for all the comments guys. I am happy with the way it looks now, also the steering wheel is much "blacker" in real life. I just need to decide on an exhaust system and I am done spending.

The power was estimated flywheel, i took it back on a dry day and got 257.4, so my cargraphic headers have only added 5 hp, they look great though

I am in Cheshire

Cheers
