986 stored for 15 years

Well I brought a 6 month old Boxster, a long time ago....
Was great fun, but life changes meant I had no time to drive, so it was stored for a year or two, that became 15 years, think it has about 10-12,000 miles...
Well, the property where it was stored was sold so I have it at y house so decided welll go on.....

New battery in Key fob, New Battery in car, New fuel....
First doors were open so left it to air for a while.....
Gave it a few short turns to get some oil moving.....
As it has been so long I cannot remember much about the lights switches and dials....
although the light flashes on the key fob, it does not seem to lock the doors or the open the engine cover or front bonnets or enable /disable the imobilizer....

the battery is fully charged and disconnected on several occasions so any memory etc should be cleared...

I will post in the main forum, but it did fire on "Easy Start" and run for a few seconds, but since then nothing, I am working through various checks.....
Will be great to get it going especially with sunny weather on the way (hmmmm really!!)

It looks like that will be a nice car when you get it sorted out. Considering the age of the tires, you should probably replace them even if they look good. Among the many forum members, we have probably run into most of the problems that you could experience, so don't hesitate to ask for help or search old discussions. I'm looking forward to seeing progress and more pictures.
