Man, this thread started out with "I'm gonna paint my wheels" Then in like 2 pages it went FULL wide body kit with a turbo VR6 power plant.

My cudos to you sir. Good job.

lol, thanks. Still got your Chevy powered Boxster? Watched a couple of your YouTube’s when I debating the engine swap.

30k miles and counting of daily abuse. A/C cold, exhaust note perfect, supercharger WHINE, and torque... YES.

Love the 4.3. But the transmission on these cars are just too short for Chevy truck engines IMPO. Thats my only gripe. The power dies off at like 5.5k which puts the max speed I like to go with this car around 135 or 140 (I get scared of oil starvation).

VR6 is a great motor choice for this trans. And I'm sure it sounds fantastic. I'm not an expert on the VR6 is the one you have the one with the slanted pistons or the flat top ones?

Your body work is cool. Definitely POPS. How wide is the back end?!?

Back end is 88 inches outside of tire to tire. It was an accident because I measured wrong when doing the bodywork. Was supposed to be a total of 80 tire to tire but it worked out. The pistons are the flat ones. I still have a few minor things to do but happy with it.

I read once that if you have the right car you will look back after you park. Had to snap this pic

I am not really a convertible guy which is why I removed the top completely but man does the Boxster look better with the top down or in this case removed.

I was thinking of getting new seats but thought I would try my hand at dying current ones before making that purchase. This will do for now.

Before is on the right
