First time Porsche owner, Charlotte NC area

Got my new to me baby yesterday. Telling my wife its her christmas present, but I may be more excited about it than her! 1999 2.5 with 87k miles, new top, and paint and interior in amazing condition for age. Getting ready for a full detail after I sort out a few issues that will post about in a different thread.

Spent many hours on here debating on whether to get a boxter, Z3, or audi TT.

Welcome! Do a lot of reading about these cars and fro upon this forum.

Yeah. I bought mine for my wife 2+ years ago. She's put on a few hundred miles to my 14K.

Are you going to wrench on your own car or do you have a local indy in mind?

I plan on doing all my own wrenching on pm and smaller stuff. Depending on complexity and time on the lookout here for a local indy. Found several good potential options here in charlotte.

I did some long test drives in early 2000's in Boxsters, Z3, Z4,330ci conv. 996 & S2000 before settling on my 2000 Box S.

I have a kenwood double din touch screen and adding a backup camera, replacing front speakers, 2 subwoofers in modified door enclosures, suncoast rear speaker kit, and 2 rockford amps. The bose is nice, but my stock setup sucks. Will prob post pics of install, and when im done if your ever in concord swing by and check it out!
