Hello all
I have been meaning to introduce myself.
I just purchased my wonderful 05 Boxster S last week and joined a few days ago.
This forum is fantastic and I love the tone if the posts.
I’m sure I will be pestering you folks for info in the very near future as I learn more about the car.
Initially I need to change the oil and filters. Are Mobile 1 synthetic oil and Fram filters ok for this car?

I wanted to attach a photo but for some reason it will not let me from my IPad.

Thanks
Mark

The Mobil 1 works... but stay away from Fram.

My philosophy, having spent some time upon these pages and listening to wiser minds, is that if it's connected to the engine... OEM all the way. I don't even run Fram on my domestic vehicle. And... even my children know better.

Welcome.

Thanks for the info. What oil and air filter do you recommend. Do I get them from Porsche or after market?

Cheers
