Boxster headlight wont lock in.

So I bought some new headlights for my 2004 Porsche Boxster. I've tried everything to get them to "POP" into place. The 5mm socket just turns under tension and dosen't lock in. I need help.

Your lock bar may be stripped.

Agreed. Or the tool, if you're using the one from the factory tool kit. Mine was cracked, though I couldn't see it, and it just turned on the shaft.

The tool kit tool is the problem...

....try a 5mm socket on a ratchet.

+1 ... my right side cluster needs a 5mm socket, the tool kit socket just doesn't work. The left side works with both.
