Intake plenum and 911 throttle body

I fitted a 74mm throttle body and plenum from a 996 for not a lot of money to my 2001 Boxster S. I purchased a silicone elbow/reducer off eBay, a piece of aluminum tubing, and another silicone coupler to connect to the stock intake which was trimmed. all for under $100. Tuned ECU for larger TB.

And ? Noticeable results?
How'd you tune the ecm? DIY? Or Take it to somebody?

Yes, it's a well known mod. But it's looks a bit too "hacked" for my liking.
