Yes, it should be on if you are seeing the outside temp

Received the switch with the wires; very well done ! I have a question regarding the placement of the switch. Previously I've read that some switches are left or right only; that is that fit on one side of the air/heat console but not the other. All my slots on the right (passenger side ) are full; this leaves me with only the driver side. Will the switch work on the left (driver side ) ?

Second question: is a second switch required to make the "speed gong" operational ?

Jim

Yes

Install in any vacant switch opening.

Is a separate switch required to set the speed gong ? How is the speed set ?

Im not sure if you can set the speed gong with a simple dash switch. I could provide a 4 stalk cable and you could add two switches I suppose to get the entire abilities....but I have no experience with that

We installed the OBC switch and have found the wiring job excellent; the switch now allows the function to cycle through. I have a couple of questions:

1. The switch has two buttons but only one seems to cause the OBC to cycle. Pressing the other side doesn't appear to have any effect ? Is this normal ?

2. Is there anyone out there who did the two (2) switch installation ? Would like clarification whether this allows setting the speed gong function

I would recommend Dwights harness to anyone wishing to use the OMC, it's a nice upgrade.
