I'm lening toward black since I have the side markers smoked and the DEPO led smoke/red taillights (and tinted windows).

Getting the stock 17" wheels powder coated dark charcoal this summer too, so with all of that I think the black housings will mesh the best.

That should look very good I think. After mayor mods, wait a little so I can grow on you. The cool thing about your color is that is very versatile. Seal grey looks good regardless of what you do to it. Lets see if we can make a group purchase and get the price lower. If you do end up getting them, please post some pics for us.

No luck with Jeff at XtremeMotorcars.com. He said that, even with an order of 100+, the price won't be much different. So it looks like this is the best we'll be able to get for the time being.

So.. who's the first to order and get some pics up?

I'll take pics and review. I've seen many pics of the chrome ones but those were too bling for me. Ran into the black housing through xtreme. I can't wait to get these. I'm hoping by the end of the month.
OR? Went to UG in Eugene...

headlights

Hi PCC010,
Check out Design911's website , they sell those headlights in both left hand and right hand drive and ship worldwide. I hope this helps.

Thanks mate - yep they're the ones!

Bit expensive on the UK site.

Jeff from Extreme has got back and a black pair should be on their way to Aus soon.

Black on black should blend well given my rear lights are smoked led's too.

I'll post some before and after pics for those interested.

Some worthwile points to consider when fitting these lights (relative to Australia):

As the lights are NOT self levelling and the fact I don't have self washers, to install HID bulbs is illegal (not that would stop many).

For now I'll fit some bosch performance white bulbs and see how that goes.

Will keep you posted

As far as I know, the chrome portion is painted black. This is on the inside not the outer lens.
There is a picture on the 1st page of this thread.

I'm hoping to have these by the end of this month. It's halogen H1 bulb I believe so I'm going to have to find a way to run my aftermarket xenon kit.

Yep black coated inside similar to most modern cars.

I have an Evo 10 with similar headlights - blends well into the phantom black paintwork.

Geetee, I'm guessing you're referring to the Fog light with the H1 bulb, as the main light is a H7
