This is the cup holder that I am using. Highly recommended! I really don't notice that it is there and it holds even large cups securely. A little expensive, but nicely made.

BMW Cup Holders, Porsche Cup Holders, Ultimate Cup Holder - Cupholders / Drink Holders for BMW 3 5 7 Series, Boxster 911 Z4 Mercedes Audi NSX other fine cars.
