2001 Boxster For Sale $25500

in ref to the titles...I have/had the same problem -- selling a Tacoma Prerunner but the buyer wanted the title which Capital One holds....solution -- I just paid it off and had the title in hand....the buyer gave me $1000 cash down and signed a paper saying its non-refundable so he doesn't back out. Just waiting for teh title right now and the truck is still my possession until it shows up.

I like it. Looks clean, love the headlamps... do not like the wheels. I would upgrade the wheels and do an exhaust.

What are your driving impressions vs. the Boxster?

Thanks! Looking to change wheels and H&R springs. Euro's height is much better. As far as ride height BMW does the best IMO. Looking to go with 18" wheels when I have to buy tires.
As far as handling goes; the 993 has a softer ride, but great steering feel, but to me feels better balanced than a 996. The 996's I've driven really feel big and the engine really felt like it was hanging off the rear bumper, the 993 makes me feel more conected to the car like the boxster does. Don't get me wrong the 996 is a great car, but seems more luxo than the 993 or the boxster, they seem like the're ready for the track. I'm sure the numbers are much better on the 996, but I like the old school feel of the earlier 911's.
The 3.6 engine is sweet, really seems like a monster compaired to the 2.7. My 993 has the air box sound package and it really makes some sweet music. Once you hit 4000 rpm you better look at the tach because you'll bounce her off the limiter. Fastest reving car I've ever driven. I can't emagine how fast a twin turbo would rev, I guess you'd really have to be on your toes. My car is a 6 speed, I drove a auto and will never own one. The auto is a 4 speed and really seemed slow.
The only things I've done have been; removing the exhaust tips and polishing them, and replaced the belts, they were the originals. The former owner had all the maintenance done and I have the recepts, but the dealer didn't think the belts needed replacing. Let's see 11 yr old belts ( that's a no brainer). The last service was at 24K (June 05'). He put about 2k/yr on her. Feels like a new car.
