2001 Boxster For Sale $25500

Purchased in Oct. 05 from a Prosche dealer in Tulsa, OK. Porsche Certified 2year 100k warranty. I've put 3k on it sence, currently has 42k. Lapis Blue, Blue top with Savana int. 17" wheels with new contential tires. $25,500 OBO. I really like this car but I've found a 99' 911 Convertable.
Mail me for questions or pics.

Wish I had an "S" now! Sweet car. I think the blue is the best color. I really hate to let this car go but I need more power and a small back seat would be nice for the kid.

Do you have this up on Cars.com or Autotrader.com? That's actually how I found mine. Just a tip (probably already thought of it :P).

Got any pics of your new 911?

Local Autotrader and internet. Not on Cars.com yet. I'm looking at two 996 Cab's. but haven't desided yet. Both are silver 43K miles, but one has had the hood painted. No paint work for me, the price would have to be very atractive. My Boxster is unmolested; no paint work, no mods, just a stock car. Not that I dislike mods, I just want to start fresh. The Boxster handles great and the sound is sweet, but I'm that guy who's always wanted a 911, lowered, fat 19's, exhaust, etc. I would prefer the Lopis Blue. The color's grown on me.
How do you like the "S" performance wise?

You can really feel those extra horses, plus I really like the beefier suspension and big brakes. Has alot more "get up and go" to it than the base.

Of course, it's no 911, but then what is?

Lowered price. Offers anyone??

I'm thinking of trading. If anyone is interested make an offer before I get the stealership screw! I have a Carfax, full listing of all new parts for the dealer before I purchased, and a new Cover King car cover. I can e-mail pics on any area on the car you'd like to see. Any offers will be considered.

Thumbs down Sell falls through!

No sell. Still available. Buyer and I couldn't work out the logistics. I think he will purchase locally. He didn't feel comfortable with title transfer. Porsche holds the loan. It's hard for me to understand because title transfers are done everyday. I even offered to meet him at a branch of his bank for the transaction and even do a three way call with Porsche. Still no go. I guess we all pay cash for these cars, and have the titles in our hands. I'd rather have my money invested in something with a return not sinking my money in a toy that depreciates. I'll borrow money at a low APR any day over using my savings................ Thanks! Just venting!

Does anyone have advise on how to handle title transfers? Escrow.com, or any other way?

These cars are hard to sell. I've looked at the local Boxsters forsale in my area and I've got all of them beat on price and quality. The others are junk, wrecked, rebulilt, paint work, and who know about RMS and other problems. My car's had none of these problems and it had a Warranty. I've advertised in everything, Autotrader, cars.com, local papers. Only about 5 or 6 leads. Soft market I guess.

Supply and Demand, there are just a ton of Boxsters out there today.

Prices are depressed as a result.

Good luck.

in ref to the titles...I have/had the same problem -- selling a Tacoma Prerunner but the buyer wanted the title which Capital One holds....solution -- I just paid it off and had the title in hand....the buyer gave me $1000 cash down and signed a paper saying its non-refundable so he doesn't back out. Just waiting for teh title right now and the truck is still my possession until it shows up.

I like it. Looks clean, love the headlamps... do not like the wheels. I would upgrade the wheels and do an exhaust.

What are your driving impressions vs. the Boxster?

Good luck with it!
