1998 Porsche Boxster 55,506 Miles and Non-starting motor

Took this car on a trade, but engine problems prevented it from starting and I overlooked a problem. I can part the car out or I can ship the whole thing. Right now it's just sitting in my garage taking up space. It won't start due to something electronic, like a bad neutral safety switch, immobilizer (no signs of corrosion), or a crank position sensor. Engine makes low compression, and the coolant reservoir is empty, which I didn't notice, so it looks like the cylinder walls cracked. Engine may need replacement. The gears in the convertible top may also be broken, I'm not sure, it just won't move. 55,506 on the odometer, won't go up.

  • Motor doesn't start, could be immobilizer, crank position sensor, or neutral safety switch
  • 55,506 Miles
  • Automatic with tiptronic
  • Comes with two tops, one of which has the back window all torn out
  • Dent in bumper, scratch in bumper, dent in quarter panel, little dings here and there
  • Will need to be towed
  • Local pickup or towing/shipping at buyer's expense

Did some further investigation into the issues. Passenger side cylinder head gasket is essentially gone. Leaks fuel, coolant, and oil onto my garage floor when I try to start it. I found the source of the reason it wouldn't crank, it was a bad E1 fuse, 7.5 amp. Still won't fully start, but it isn't throwing any codes on durametric. I think it's just because I'm flooding the cylinder with coolant and fuel mixture.
