thinking you can just remove the shroud behind the rads and only need to trim the fender liners.

Excellent! I'm surprised I haven't heard of this. Running 255s up front I've already eaten away at most of he fender liners. I wonder if I can just remove them. I'd have to keep the lower part with the small diffuser. It's purely a track car so dirt isn't a big concern. Although I do go off track about every weekend
