Are you new at all this? Run the NT01's for a year before jumping to the go fast stuff!!

One big spin in a parking lot AX on A6s and they will be flat spotted and useless. Throwing a $1400 set of fresh, flat spotted tires in the dumpster stings a bit.

I like the V710's.. they typically *only* win a handful of classes at the SCCA National's whereas the A6 cleans up (they do have some off years)

DOT R:

1.A6
2.710

Better?

Haha I have raced other cars on R-Compounds and have raced with but V710's and A6's... lol

Umm... So what about running 245's all the way around and adding a huge front swaybar to eat up the ammense oversteer?? Eh?

Been running cars here in SoCal 275 square with GT3 front bar and stock rear bar on stock PSS9's.

Also have ran R6 Hoosiers 245 square on 17's with GT3 front bar and Tarett 4way rear bar. It works well.

Few weeks back I tested 225 R6 square on a BoxsterS race car at AutoX. This place (Qualcomm) eats up A6's (the tires overheat with their 1.5 mile **AutoX's**) so I wanted to test a smaller R6. It worked great Instead of the A6 being heated up within a few corners, the R6 took a full lap+. This meant the tire was good to go for the way they run their timed runs (no cool down time)

Every question about suspension and tires is dependent on the driver and the conditions. 99% of this world find a compromise that works for them (It may also work for other people) but you need to find what works for YOU in your situation.

245 is awfully skinny for AX. I'd run 275 square. However my favorite setup on Boxster was 315/30/18 and 295/30/18 a6s.

If you're not ready for DOT R tires Hankook RS3 is awesome ax street tire and they make some good sizes for Boxster with 17s too. NT01 is nice treaded DOT r tire that will be much more forgiving to your wallet.

They are on sale at Performancetread.com now too.

Where do you plan to autocross? Do you run with RSCC ? Be carful about compounds you choose if your running at cold venues. road race compounds like Hoosier r6s need heat to work well in ax. I'd say two best dedicated autocross tires are the Good Year Eagle RS DOTR in AUtocross compound and the Hoosier A6 DOT R. In cold weather the good year actually works better!

The car in the post above me has GT3 front bar, Tarett long links, and Tarett rear bar.

KW shocks, Tarett monoball inner pivot's on stock GT3 control arms.

Tarett rear toe links (monoball inner only)

It performed VERY well at the SCCA Nationals **She** took second behind a SoCal BMW, I believe he took 3rd behind the same BMW in the men's class and something else.

Grant will have to confirm. I was standing there.. but I have slept since then
