Hey Terry - same thing happend to a local guy about 20yrs old. He had the horns sooooo bad for a 3-Series... This one was in Chicago and the seller had his orders for the Foreign Service, or whatever, and was leaving that weekend.. yatta-yatta. He got clipped for about $3k.

I think he thought he was getting a 3yr old car for...like $12k. I'm cynical enough to think: he deserved it. Darwin's Waiting Room has always been pretty crowded.

I can understand your point of view, but being 20 he doesn't have the life experiences we do. Maybe he was brought up to trust people and that people are basically honest. He sure learned an expensive lesson. It probably took him a long time to earn that money (at least I hope it did).
