That is one gorgeous Boxster. I'm planning on getting mine done once winter is done.

Great pics, AUDIOGUY !

I love the way the non-amber rear lights look.

Glad you were able to get your "lock out" situation resolved...

Nick

beeeeYOOOOOOteeeful!

I might have to look into the soil and coating remover, since I just got my Boxster a little over a month ago, and it really wasn't kept very clean by the PO. Maybe a wash with some of that, and a clay bar, then the wash and wax routine?

I do have a few scratches and chips in the paint... but I know a guy that does touchups for a living. I'm gonna see if he can take a look at it and see what it would take to get all the little stuff taken care of.

Thumbs up

Owning a black car as well, I share your joy in the results. It kills me how, even when trying to sell them, people don't take the time to make them look their best.

The bumperettes? Back to Black is definitely good, but have you considered painting them? It would complete the look.

Thats why I painted mine. Looks 10 times better, plus I used back to black a lot, and its not all that great to be honest. Only last a week or so.

Yes, repeated apps are required. Painted bumperettes require much less attention, to be sure.

Bogg,
Can you post a pic or two of the painted bumperettes. I run a collision center and it would be quite easy to have them refinished.

By the by, I was running some errands in the newly cleaned car and ran into a buddy of mine with his new girlfriend. I felt badly for him as she was giving me "the eye" after chatting her up sitting in my car.

I just saw on Weather.com that NJ is expecting some decent snow this week... I guess the Box will be sleeping in the garage this week.
