TriGem2K,

There is a great article about oil (changing frequency, type, molecular structure, etc.) in the recent technical section of Excellence magazine.

TriGem, you should change the oil. Not a greater feeling than running fresh lube. You spent like 1 billion dollars on your stereo, but you won't spend a few bucks for clean grease. Come on man!

The first few years I racked on miles like no tomorrow. Its a 2001 with 49,900miles. I got through the break in period the day after I picked up the car and it only had 3miles leaving the Dealer.

At this point I've got 3-4cars at home to choose from as my daily driver. As much as I love the Boxster its just not a daily driver. At least not mine, its too low, it actually scrapes going in and out of the driveway. Makes parking it a pain in the @$$

Oh and when I drive it, believe me its not being driven lightly. It sees 5K plus every time. I drive the @#$% out of it.
