I hope not all canadians spell so poorly. Second, a one car accident IS your fault. It would appear that given the conditions, even 90km/h was not "safe" enough, since you spun. In the US, these are the questions for your insurance company. If it was really $14,000USD, it sounds like the car would be "totaled" out. End of story. I would think that even 14,000 Canadian dollars would have the same effect.
