Funky 986 log-in issue?

Has anyone else experiencing occasional difficulty in logging on to this website in the past week? Might just be me, but I've been getting a screen message saying the website isn't found or there's some sort of "data base error".

Just curious.

Likewise. Same club.

Tried to log in 1.5 hours ago (in addition to all last week), and met with the error. Only now have I been able to log in.

Tech-wise, the site is old.

Garage
It would seem that they are having problems from time to time.

Yep...seems that way. Kinda glad it's not an issue at my end.

I’ve experienced this multiple times, and I believe @admin and @IT need to perform some maintenance.

I've seen it many times in the past week or two as well. Looking at the site stats, it could be an issue that I had on my own site awhile back, getting killed by search/indexing bots/spiders. Right now it's showing Currently Active Users: 3293 (49 members and 3244 guests). I'd be surprised if there were that many people lurking on the site who have not logged in, so it's probably just getting killed by these processes that are going through every topic and member constantly.
