A little more elaboration on what you did would help. If you save your picture in jpg format you can upload it.
You are saying you are doing chains. Which ones? Apparently you are replacing the chain rails which requires pulling off the oil pump housing, so you removed that already. But replacing corresponding long chains (from IMS to cams) requires splitting the cases, unless you split the chain itself. But then it doesn't matter what is happening at the heads because they should come off. So I'm confused.
