How to remove the roof/cabrolet?

Hi!
I’m trying to remove the roof, the whole cab mechanism. I’ve watched some youtube videos and removed the three screws on the side of each of the two ”pillars”, and the cab is disconnected from the motors, but it seems to be stuck still. Am i doing something wrong?

Some of the tops I removed had Phillips screws in addition to the three bolts on each side of the frame. Here's a thread with some pictures:

There can be two screws on each side.

Picture of the aft screw, there's another positioned just aft of the front bolt:

You don't indicate what year your Boxster is but building on what 78F350 has said - there may be a microswitch on the frame that you will need to remove or unplug.

YEEES!!!! Don't know how i missed those. Guess i was so stuck on the instructions being right so didn’t look for them! Huge thanks! I spent hours and in the process caused 10 new issues 🫣
I have a 1998 model.
I didn’t think and closed the roof without the top connected as i thought i would be able to reach better with the hatch closed. That only made things worse and i didn’t think about that the roof would not close as the roof was not in position.
Anyone know if there is any smart way of ”raising” the roof without having the roof connected?
