Remove the passenger seat

Hi,

I want to remove the passenger seat and put a small dog crate there for my dog. I’m guessing that I will get an airbag light. Can I remove that light with the Durametric once I put the seat back in.

I don't have a Durametric, but have used a couple diagnostic tools that have no problem resetting the airbag light. I expect that the Durametric being Porsche specific will not have a problem.

Just disconnect the starter battery and wait 30 minutes before you start your work and connect it afterwards. Also make shure that you don't have the key in the ignition lock while you disconnect or connect the starter battery.

If you have memory seats, then first remove the 4 screws that hold the seat. And afterwards disconnect the starter battery. Also no key in the igntion lock. Then you can diconnect the seat wiring harness.
