I had the caliper bolts come loose on my 924S, right rear if I remember correctly. It started making a strange noise, I had a look underneath and found the loose bolts, hand tightened them and then to get home drove across Montreal south to north, in traffic, without touching the brake pedal! Downshifted to slow it down then used the hand brake to stop. My 2002 GMC pickup lost a bolt also. Again I hand tightened it and drove home using the brakes sparingly. I now am very conscious about torquing caliper bolts.
