End of My Boxtser Era
Well it finally happened today. My 2003 Boxster S is sold and on its way to Minnesota with its new owner. Some of you may recall I decided to by a new Cayman GT4 last February. With supply chain issues, the Ukraine war and a RoRo vessel full of VW product and Porsches that caught fire and sank, the estimated June delivery date slipped and it finally arrived at the dealer on August 30th and was delivered to me on September 4th. With everything going on there was always the possibility in my mind that the GT4 might not arrive, so I decided not to sell my 2003 Boxster S until after I got the new car.
I owned this car for just over 19 years, and while I love the new car, I'll miss the Boxster. I learned a lot about the car being a member here and lots of members here have helped me with parts and projects. There are so many folks to thank here, some still active members, and some no longer. These people come to mind immediately, but I'm sure there are others and I want to thank everyone.
