After the warranty on the car expires (like all of ours did a long time ago) there's rarely any reason to visit the Porsche dealer service department.

Find a qualified indie and stick with him.

Like FO FO JOE wrote.......not only remove the carpet in the trunk BUT ALSO lift up all of the trunk raised floorboards too. In my case, the carpets were bone dry but the metal floor under the raised flooring was holding coolant pools and signs of coolant stains. My coolant tank developed spider cracks that would only leak when the system was hot and became pressurized.

Replaced the 20 year old plastic tank with a new Porsche tank....the cheaper aftermarket ones don't work very well (I was advised).

Update: Replaced Coolant Temperature Sensor. Problem solved.
