7,000 miles and right rear blinker gone?

Boxster base 05 , 7,000 miles and rear right directional blinker gone.

Can the cause be the past owner put aftermarket HIDs lights ?
Any ideas what could have caused this?

It happened today when I put the emergency Hazard and then got the message in the car display to check directional right side.

it shouldnt be associated with ur lights, but now that i think about it, maybe he changed the rear bulbs as well, and got some oil from his fingers on there and it died our rather fast.
just replace the bulb and call it a day, no big deal
