Vw beetle headlight swap

Have you ever looked at a mid 2000s vw beetle front end and gone "damn those headlights look a lot like a 911". Well, I did. And seeing as how I like to mess with stuff that's perfectly working, I ordered a pair to see how they fit....

They don't. They're SO close. But they don't.

...and the Boxster headlights don't fit a Beetle.

Hah!

You know what's crazy though? They make a "gt500" front bumper for that generation beetle that looks just like a 996 gt2. I've already thought about it...it won't fit a 986 lol.

Yes, I was looking for a 1.8T with manual transmission to do stuff to, but NOT That.
