Your 2000 will have them....or should. One on the pass rear (toward rear of car) that is for the one 1 check valve on the vac system. The other will be front driver that goes to the fuel rail. You can see them in this picture. Anything prior to 00 I can't say for sure, never messed with the 2.5's. I know this is what is needed on 00-03 cause I have replaced them myself in the past 60 days.

Negative ghostrider

I got very intimate with mine when I upgraded to the 3.5" diameter 996 plenum. No vac lines coming off those boots. Amazingly, that 20 year old rubber was pliable enough to stretch over the new plenum without protest!

Unless I have totally ****************ed something up, which is always possible.

Now I will have to check.
