I recently replaced my Coolant Tank, it began leaking after a day of 'moderate driving' in some fun SoCal canyons.....
Before the tank was replaced the coolant temperature was bang on 180 all the time regardless of air temp or how hard I was driving the car.
I've noticed since the tank was replaced that the coolant has been hotter (see pic) and a little more variable in temperature than it used to be.
Whilst this temperature reading still seems within a safe operating threshold i'm curious as to why this may have changed and if there is anything I should investigate further?
