Bringing this back from the archives, for those using copper nuts, are you using pure copper, or copper plated steel?

Solid Brass or Solid Copper.

Excellent, thanks! My local industrial supply place doesn't carry them, off to search online. Ebay looks like the best bet, everything on Amazon is copper plated steel from the looks of it.

Try something like Ace Hardware if you have it or a Napa auto parts store.
I think Brass will be easier to find then Copper.

Redpepper, I bought before the metric brass nuts for the exhaust hardware at McFaden-Dale
