Been about a month since I have done something along these lines with swapping seats. What I did is just put a 150ohn resister in the car side of the connector and didn't even bother connecting the harness from the seat belt. No lights at all now, and no airbag warning light either so I can pull the seats out any time without worrying about it.

Thanks I have no airbag light issue and everything is good, I'm just curious about the seatbelt light. This actually works fine for me the way it is and I put my OEM seats back in for the fall and winter, but am curious as to why the seatbelt light doesn't work with these seats.
