Question on Seat Belt Receptacles

So I just swapped out my factory seats for my GT3 Euro seats. I noticed my on factory seats the terminal for the seat belt receptacle wire on the driver’s seat is blue and the one on the passenger seat it is green. The receptacles were reversed on the GT3 Euro seats I bought and I didn’t other to swap them With the GT 3 seats installed, the seatbelt dash warning light does not come on. Not when the key is first turned on, and not when I drive off without connecting the seatbelt. For me this is fine since I’ll be using harnesses on the track and won’t have to put a fake seatbelt in to turn the light offMy question is this. When the factory seats are installed the seatbelt light on the dash works fine. Does the car know the difference between the blue and green connectors and that they aren’t on the right side?

Been about a month since I have done something along these lines with swapping seats. What I did is just put a 150ohn resister in the car side of the connector and didn't even bother connecting the harness from the seat belt. No lights at all now, and no airbag warning light either so I can pull the seats out any time without worrying about it.

Thanks I have no airbag light issue and everything is good, I'm just curious about the seatbelt light. This actually works fine for me the way it is and I put my OEM seats back in for the fall and winter, but am curious as to why the seatbelt light doesn't work with these seats.
