I bought 2 cans, looks like a match but both cans were defective because of a recall they had several years ago. The seller woudnt replace the cans, but did refund my money, so make sure you dont get any old cans.
Thanks for the compliment. I've gone green temporary.

The red looked great... best yet I've seen.
The green has been growing on me. You nailed the wrap. The car looks great, JB.

Where to buy hard top
I very recently bought a porsche 986 and saw this thread with the z-art hardtops. Ive not been able to find anything online about where to find or buy them so if someone could please help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

The 'shipped from China' tops are available on eBay.
There's also a top that was first developed here: https://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/60747-stelan-986-targa-project-rendering.html

They haven't made Zeintops in years. Is it old or is it a Z-Art top? Thats who makes them now. What do you want for it?

Tryna Be Like JBauer When I Grow Up! Thank you, Sir!
I went ahead and bought the hardtop from Jason at Z-Art in China and I have no regrets whatsoever! Sal-Mar Auto Body of Newark, New Jersey did the phenomenal work, including some much-needed fiberglass fabrication because the tops never come perfect. Yes, there's wind noise at speed. Yes, there's rattling when you go over bumps. Yes, you need STRONG GLUE and SEALANT on the window rubber. BUT WHO CARES??? People think I'm driving a Cayman. I just keep my mouth SHUT!
I want to thank everyone on this forum who talked about the custom hardtop, especially those like JBauer who actually did it. I was inspired by a YouTube video called "The Bauer Build" that I watched over and over until I finally pulled the trigger and PayPal'd Jason at Z-Art my $$$. Now I get Ferrari props on a Boxster budget! Thanks again and Happy Holidays from the Bronx, New York, USA!
