I want to change the VIN but the scanner will not do it. I read somewhere if I set the odometer to roll over to 0 that it will boot like a brand new cluster and look for the VIN in the ECM and copy it. I do not know if this is true, maybe someone will chime in. I am not computer literate enough to remove the Eprom and reprogram it.
