Sorry, I just saw this message. I used an EEPROM reader to directly read the contents on the chip on the circuit board. The device you mentioned will not do this.
I’m interested in your msg about changing both vin and mileage with an eprom programmer. I thought the mileage was encrypted on the eprom. Maybe you could give more detail.
I need to do the same on a replacement 2002 Boxter s. Do you think the xtool 100 pro would do both?
