It flashes the same as the one working, I changed the battery and still does not work with the car. I just bought the car a week ago and the owner said maybe a battery.
Possibly have to go to the dealer to get it programmed, I don't really need the key now but would still like both keys to be working.

A key fob can only be programmed to he car if you have the barcode for it. Otherwise, you are SOL

Where would I find the barcode, I have I think everything the new car came with (all the manuals & literature) also have a radio code card, but don’t see any kind of bar code.

The barcode is on a sticker under the driver's seat. You may have to remove the seat. Good luck.

That is good info to know . So there is a sticker attached to the bottom of the driver's seat with the barcode of the original key/s ?

Two codes are needed to program a replacement key fob. One is for the fob itself and the other is for the car. The fob code comes on a tag with a new unit. The car code may be found under the driver's seat (I'm not 100% sure about this) or a Porsche dealer can provide it. The dealer just needs the Vin to get the code. They may be resistant to giving it out, but keep pushing to get it. I've had several fobs programmed in the past at an independent shop which used an Autologic computer to do the job. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes per fob.

Ha, glad I didn't see this until this morning. Would have spent time in the blazing heat removing the seat to find a code.
