That's exactly what mine did before I replaced the switch to resolve.
It is not too bad of a job. Good luck!

Awesome. My new switch should arrive tomorrow. I'd much rather replace the switch than have to replace the ballast, headlight, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed this will work. I'm 99.999% certain it will based on others' experiences.
