Oil splash valve/oil spray jet test

Hey Folks,

I removed the oil spray jets from the crank bearing carrier, or as the manual calls it, splash valves with the intension to test/clean them. Any idea how to do this? At what pressure should they open? Or should I just replace them? They are not expensive, but I could use that money for something else for sure..

Thanks,
Greg
