Enjoy the new ride and don't be a stranger. Your 996 is really just a 3.6L hard top Boxster with the motor in the wrong place.

After 10 years with the 986 I too decided to get a hard top for the next one. Ninety percent of the time I am glad I did but those magical summer canyon drives were more fun top down.

I just ran up to Ice house Canyon and back with the top down and I agree. Get's you out of the heat and into nature.
