The wheels have slicks on them, so I only use them for the track. I only put one wheel on for a photo as a favour to you. I didn't see a point in bolting it down since it wasn't staying on.

There's not a lot of clearance, but enough for it to run with no issues. Boxster S discs are 318mm, so there would technically be even more clearance on the Boxster S than on the Audi.

16-inch wheels certainly provide enough space inside them for the Boxster S brake setup, so I don't see why 16-inch wheels wouldn't work on the Boxster S provided you could find a wheel with the right offset.

Hey, just buy some spacers with extra long wheel bolts and make 'em fit on your Boxster S too. You'll be fine so long as your tire OD's match front to rear...
