Cigarette Lighter Adapter Cable, for Battery Tender

Can the Battery Tender 12 Volt Junior Automatic Battery Charger with the additional Cigarette Lighter Adapter Cabl for Battery Tender be used safely with a 2003 Boxster S?Will this work? Please advise,

It likely can, but I prefer connecting directly to the battery terminals. I have a CTek charger and an adapter cable attached to the battery cable ends. Very plug & play, keep the connector tucked between the wiper tray and frunk lid.

+1, easy and clean. But the lighter method works too.

I found a Sears branded charger/ maintainer at a garage sale for ten bucks . Included was the cigarette lighter adapter . I have been using it on the Boxster for six months now works great .
