My wife, kids never know anything else. We go on a road trip and they wonder what the hell I'm doing pumping gas.

In NJ attends don't fill motorcycles. That you have to do your self.

(2) things I hate about pump your own.
1 - All the extra steps to pay cash. Go into the store and pay an estimate of what you need, Fill up, go back in to get change
2 - I have to do a serious wash of my hands afterwards

I don't think it's a safety thing as much as it's a job creation thing

Ridiculously overpriced. Ridiculous. That's what I want to do: Impress the attendant.

I was joking about impressing the attendant. As I mentioned before, this was a gift to me by a friend, so it cost me nothing, but I think it’s an awesome gift. Is it worth the $150? Prob not, but so many other things from Porsche are ridiculously pricey as well. If this was provided by Porsche as standard equipment for all their cars (which I think should be the case), perhaps you wouldn’t complain, as it does look better than the stock cap.

I was just pulling your chain. I've looked at the caps... they are a nice detail. I wish I had friends like yours! Or, mo money.

My fuel door lock is wonky, and I haven't yet pulled the wheel... removed the liner... and gotten up under there to repair it. Likely I'll be scouting that cap when the repair is completed.

Cheers!

Gotcha...I don’t blame you for thinking it’s a rip off cause it is! But it does look sweet, so I’m not complaining.

Cash? That's what debit cards are for! Much quicker.
Are you spilling gas on yourself? Are you using Diesel? Why would you need to wash your hands? Many stations now have cleaning wipes at the pump.
