In NJ we don't pump our own gas, it's against the law as it's too dangerous. A few years ago, they thought about changing the law. The gas stations said prices wouldn't go down because their insurance cost would increase. Then people realized they would have to pump their own gas in rain and snow, and the idea of changing the law was dropped.

It is a great looking gas cap though, your girlfriend should like it!

I drive to NJ around once a year and I am always amazed how low the gas prices are compared to PA, even though you still have 'full service' and we have to pump our own.

I'm sure the gas stations used PA as an example in their argument!

Pricing is all about state gas tax. We are in NW FL. Head about an hour north into Alabama and gas is always .10-.15 cheaper.

It's funny how it's too dangerous to pump gas in NJ but not the rest of the country. Go figure.
