Yeah. I have made tools to do that in a couple of fittings. I have some where you have to remove a clip, and hold a “lip” forward, as you pull.

This one has nothing like that. I have tried pulling pretty hard, pushing in hard, and forcing apart, by inserting something between the two shoulders. Nothing.
