Stokholm Registered User Join Date: Oct 2018 Location: Virginia, USA Posts: 22	Oil filter quick question Guys, Finally got my kids newly aquired 2001 Boxster S back from the dealership after they cleared the Engine lights. Now I want to change all the liquids and filters starting with the engine oil. Pulled the engine filter and the existing is not an exact match to the new one I got. Diameter is good but as the picture shows the plastic flanges top and bottom are not there on the new filter. Is that a problem or did they just change the design?
