Battery Charge/Voltage LED

I'm unable to find the thread wherein it is described how to monitor your battery charge/voltage with an LED digital readout squirreled into the fusebox panel faceplate (?).

If someone could point me to that thread greatly it would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. However, that isn't it. I recall a picture posted that showed the LED digital readout... maybe 1" x 2". You would cut out the size on the fuse panel door (if you will)... insert it... hook up the wires... voila.

I'll keep looking.

Thanks, again! Cheers!

Something like this would be easy to install:

https://m.ebay.com/itm/Battery-Status-Charge-Indicator-Monitor-Meter-Gauge-LED-Digital-12V-24V/182327475110?

Or this:

That'll work. Thank you.

To what would the 2 wires be connected?

Thank you, Sir.

The black wire to any good ground (there should be a ground bolt right by the fuse panel) and the red wire to any switched fuse using a fuse tap (switched fuse would make it so that it only came on with ignition on).

I'll look at the fuses and find a good one later tonight.

I think the link you may have seen was on Pedro's garage years ago. It is under the 'garage' page.

Yep. I don’t have this exact one, but mine plugs into the cig charger and does its thing. Super easy. Mine also has temp and two USB chargers. Works perfectly, and requires no mods. Just be sure to remove it when done as the cig lighter is constant hot.

There's a hole in the left lower dash for a second cig. lighter. I put one of these in that hole, didn't even take much enlarging of the hole. It's wired in to the power feed for the radio. Works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XHJ3WTL/ref=s9_acsd_zgift_hd_bw_b1402d_c_x_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPD KIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-8&pf_rd_r=ZJGKA69AFR086475EXDY&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=47595890-73ad-5d76-bb3a-a9a9c076405f&pf_rd_i=15729811&th=1

A picture would be nice! I don't see this hole you are talking about.
