I think they are going up... My 02S books on NADA for over 14k now. It was shy of 11k 2 yrs ago. Not to say there is some crazy investment reality or anything, but Porsches ALWAYS come around. With the air-cooled market going crazy, the first and second gen 986 and 996 are the next "classics" in line. To that, because many are getting to the point some real $$ needs to spent to catch up on maint etc the cars are being discarded for race cars or scrap/parts and the herd is thinning. A year ago Boxsters were a dime a dozen in my area. Lately there may be 3 or 4 avail at any one time in the region.
