No personal experience, but from what I gather Porsche replacement engines come with a 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty.
You will probably have to check with your dealer regarding any extended warranty discounts because of the new engine separately warrantied by Porsche.
I would expect that you paid in full for your extended warranty when you signed up for it, so they are already in the hole for the price of the engine, less the price of the warranty. Additional discounts would seem to me to be not in the cards.
